I had the great pleasure of working with a number of talented artists while working as a scenic artist. One of the many lessons I learned doing it was the value of collaborating with other artists. When I decided to leave scene painting I knew I would like to make that part of my practice. This led to my forming the Outside the Line Collective. Using a variation of Exquisite Corpse, we create paintings in which each artist does a section of an image independently using any medium and style they choose.
